In July 2022, TxDOT began pavement repairs and storm sewer construction along 19th Street, between University and Memphis Avenues. Construction is expected to last through the upcoming academic year.

Smith (Chapman University), 2002 co-recipient of the Nobel Memorial Prize in Economic Sciences, for a public lecture on 'Propriety, Property, and Price Discovery in Adam Smith and Classical Economics: Neoclassical Economic Failures.' Prof. Smith will be available for a book signing at 4:45 PM, prior to the lecture at 5:30 PM. Copies of his recent book will be available for purchase.
